ok so its the 6faith bbq. haha the day before that, me and jw went to buy slippers! Woots, 10bucks only! i think its quite a good catch. We wore it to the bbq too. And the bbq was totally awesome! lots of lost sheeps and meh-mehs were found! Like ivan & qixuan.(!) *ahem yah. OH and i bumped into Ivan ytd. Qiao. So yah the bbq was quite nice la, catched up with them, started fire with Jing (whos the firegods eh?) and played with little Xan! Think he's 3 or 4 years old liao. Haha and the girls were teaching him phrases like PRADA! LV! xD

Haha that day was my mum's bday too. 19december. Took my mum to Cafe Cartel for lunch with bro, then watch YES MAN with mum. Haha bump into Ben Yeo, the chn U guy in leftfoot. He's the one who started the chain of shops right?


Then the day after was PA outing! Fun under sentosa sun! Not really sunny, but at least it din rain! Played frisbee, volleyball, frisbee with volleyball, and whatever we could. And only me and mok went into the water! =P

After that went marche to eat. Cool place, but ex. THANKS CHOON HENG for treating me the calimarili-whatever. Sotong rings. =)

Ok, so what's after outing? I kinda forget liao. Think i slacked at home for a few days. Oh and got one day i went out, bumped into KZ at east coast, then bump into zac tay at citylink. Haha. Oh yah, bumped into wilbert when i went to watch YES man. Haha i think the seniors love me. =)


Xmas eve went to jing's house again. yes, mahjong again. Scary thing is that the seating order is coincidentally the same as the week before. And yea, lost quite abit of money again. Somewhat like a living Deja Vu. Haha went to Macs after midnight, and we were comparing the number of merry xmas sms-es. Haha surprisingly i got the most! 11! yes, 11! =)

Cont playing for awhile, and i managed get back $3. Not too bad lah, but Gambling's still bad. I think Jing's house is voodooed. He kept winning, bleh.

Wii till the morning, and i really crashed while waiting for my turn. Needless to say, i slept my christmas away. Not white, but pitch dark xmas for me. xD

Went bernard's house on monday! Well... was supp to mug, but end up chatting and watching sball videos. And went downstr to play some sball too. That took like one whole aftn. But hey i started on econs! and he took my chem to do. So got progression okay! =)

The rain is bad. Bad. BAD! The cause of my emo-ness. Yknw what, becoz of the rain i was sent home from work! >< Not that i've done anything bad, but somehow the business was bad on rainy days. Yea with recession and everything, the supervisor decided to cut some cost and send me back early on friday. That's like almost $50 gone. zzZz

and instead of going out having fun under the sun, u're forced to stay at home and rot. uncool.

& talking about work, or rather the lack of work, i havent been working this week. Schedule full huh. I think my pay this month will be like less than last month, which i worked only 2 full shifts. Ah yes and i got my pay alr =)

Tues was emo too. The whole softball team. Coz it was supp to be the 'no-coach-all-fun-with-pitching-machine' day as decided during the farewell day...

Seniors farewell was on sat. As said by wilbert, it was a surprising day! Surprisingly boring in the morning, and surprisingly exciting in the evening. I shant talk about the boring part. The afternoon starts with lunch at Lot 1, and fun at Kai's condo. its totally omgxzxzx. Big place, with mini mart, salon, spa shop, bbq pits, pool room and.....

The bbq was awesome too, with all the guy seniors present, almost all the girls senior present, and quite a number of super seniors who went too. But hoho most of the super seniors are like smoking and drinking, and Jem was preaching us juniors not to follow xD

The food was great. bagus. jing ho jia. Im on the satay side, and i think we ate more satay than we serve the rest =P Abk's mom is pro at making shepherd's pie & speggeti! and alot alot alot more food. One of the better BBQs i've been to. =)

Yea so as storybooks always have twists, our 'no-coach-all-fun-with-pitching-machine' day was twisted badly. Well...we are NOT jumping to conclusions, but we think some asshole who's not from the guys team realises we're going to sch that day, then inform coach out of her good intentions. & so it became hell boring on that day.

Hw was like rushing to me when i was walking towards the grandstand. "do u know coach is coming today?"

KO-ed instantly.

and that night. I got tok at JW's house. Went home $12 poorer after playing mj for 6+hours. totally luck-less. Like the more i play, the more sian i get. That's the feeling of losing ba,bleh.


Unarguably, PA's best when it comes to chilling. 2tables of relaxing mj with light-hearted chats and free-flow orange squash and snacks. Haha althou attendance wasnt as much as we expected, but it was just as fun! =)


Smth happened during pa training too. Guess cass almost left a legacy behind.

And i thot ytd was wednesday. xD Had softball friendly in the morning with NUS. wow. their guys are strong and pro, but our match was against their girls. ... ... boring day again, i think i enjoy more machine batting with the guys rather than the match. Kena hit by the girl pitcher la, at the back of the knee. Now the joint there still sore =(

Went btfc with bernard and derek! Feasted happily over chicken rice, oyster egg, popiah and red ruby. Burp. And its cheap too. Sat at the table with derek's jersey number. Haha actually his number was 23, but i koped it away for my red jersey so he bo bian take 24. =P

Chilled with B at bugis afterwards. and hey actually tight fit jeans (not skinnies, mind u!) are actually quite nice looking. And yea havent seen him in jeans before. Maybe coz when i hang out with him its always for sports and stuff, and not jeans-occasion.

Phew i managed to wake up today.

Work and play.


Work started long long ago! Wednesday and friday, from 6pm all the way till 4am. Yup its throughout the night one, so it really leaves u quite shagged the next day. Shan't talk about it much coz i dun really like the place i work. But at least my colleages are nice =) Maybe im stopping at mid-dec, still need the time to mug and prepare for next year.

Softball buffet.

Literally. We had 4 matches for 4 consecutive trainings. It was montfort, mgs, mgs again, then montfort again. Matches are really good experience to learn, rather than the normal sets and stuff. It really exposes u to the different kind of situation, and the different level of 'feeling' when u're up against an opponent. So besides the usual training, i think more friendly-s would definetely help.

Not forgetting our usual recre gang. Kinda long since we played tgt liao. Think everyone's busy with their own stuff.

& me and b went shoe-shopping! Found a mizuno studs thats pretty and cheap. Hoho its going to be mine next month. Oh and his boots spilt too, so i think he's getting it as well. Yay.


Actually working and training has much to do in common.
To excel, u need to have several qualities like initiative, eagerness, sense of urgency, willingness to learn, and never-say-die. Skills come second to these, as they can easily be picked up. When coaches/supervisors start ranting to u, no doubt u'll feel terrible and resent against them, but hey they're actually exposing u to the reality of the situations.

in fact. this holds true in many aspects of life.

& one more thing. U gotta act be tough and show that u're no pushover. Not only is it good for image, people will think twice about making things difficult for u.

No idling around too. At least show that u're busy doing something. Then u wun get tekan. Basic survival skill. hahaha

u'll also feel the satisfaction when u get something done nicely. Like geting ur orders and task done, or even like making a good hit on the ball. Its simply just more than words.

haha quite enjoyed these two days. training is boring la, but its the company that makes the fun, and the dumb things we do. We managed to pack and revamp the store! Hope it can stay liddat for a long time.

& bernard got owned. big time. =/

we realised that coach actually gave the guys much much more attention this time round, and her training is actually quite effective. Like she corrected almost everything thing i did in training. Throwing ah, batting ah. But shits, i missed the step-and-whack session again. Missed 3 times liao lah, maybe im not fated to learn. xD

and with coach around, i think the whole team really gave their best, and show that we're up to her expectations. Like today, i wun really run that hiong for the ball with half my butt cramping, but i did. Maybe without coach ard i'll just slack away. So we concluded that for an effective team, u'll need to have a coach to breathe down ur neck!

Machine is fixed! Woots, we can finally get to use it after sooo long.

Im seriously in need for some R&R. Body is totally cui, i took 15mins to walk home from bus stop, riddiculously slow. Hope i still can get out of bed and walk tmr. xD

and yay, finally posted this post. Been typing for more than a week. I just simply love to procastinate. =P
