New year's eve.


oh anyway, do u know that 'eve' actually refers to the evening before the occasion? Not the girl who ate the dunno what fruit.

whatever. haha anyway the tv's distracting me from what i wanna blog. shall recollect my thoughts.


mmm yes, 2009 has been a great year. Just during this hols, i felt that i learned alot already. From the trip to indo, i felt really fortunate of the life im living, and re-learned to cherish the things and people around me. And just today i finally stepped out of my comfort zone again to strive for something. And re-lived the joy of seeing my dear friends coming back tgt and still remembering each other. And many many more lessons. Kinda happy that although my hol's short, its quite meaningful. =)

That's just the hols. There's simply too much things that i'd taken away from 2009. Haha i dun really like 2009 from the start, coz the number looks quite ugly. xD But it turns out to be yet another wonderful experience. Felt that i've really grown up and seen alot of things. and barely one fifth of my life has passed.

2010 is a nicer number. Hopefully a better year too. A year when boys turned into men and start talking about army stuff every weekend. Well i foresee myself to be one too, but better not!


Countdown to 2010 is back to home. I'll be missing it soon i guess.

haha its been postponed 9days alr, but still i wanna hao-lian abit about my indo trip. =)


Couldnt clearly rmb everything coz i think i spent 1/3 of the time sleeping on the bus. The tour guide wasnt that interactive but still okay i guess, can see that he tried. He got a cool name, thou i couldnt hear properly. Was it zoul or zule or zoo?

ah but he's a facebook geek too. saw him fbing on his blackberry. =O

day 1 was kinda average. Flight got delayed coz there were so many planes jammed up at the runway. Got a shock when i peered out of the oval window. Like queuing up for toto liddat. Yea eventually we flew and reached there quite fast.

Then it was the boring bus rides again. you can safely assumed that between every paragraphs, there's an hour of bus ride. or more.

until we get to the safari. =)

Was pretty impressed by the massive safari. But at the same time kinda sad too. Its huge and well planned. Just lacked the design and marketing, which makes the place look dull. Plus the tour guide who talked less than i did. But we bought lots of carrot to feed the animals! Mainly my dear lil cousins. Scroll through the pics and u can see the diff animals. Deers elephants deers bears camels hippos deers deers zebras leopards deers giraffe lions tigers deers owls monkeys deers and more deers. Yes i think deers breed faster than rabbits can. They're like swarming everywhere. but we saw some funny scenes like a tiger shitting and ahmeng behaving like a clown.

Went to some tea plantation for a cup of tea and view the scenery. At night. Where everything's dark. Haha view what scenery and drink what tea. Kinda wasted. =/

Went to a small resort for the night. Which gave us alot of probs too, like leaking taps and faulty toilet bowls and spoilt telephone system. Sommore the lightings werent that bright and adds a gloomy feel to the seemingly shabby building. So yea during dinner we kinda kicked up a fuss to the boss who really looked quite kelian kena bombarded by the 3 families.

oh yea. i din really intro the ppl ard.

there's my fam of coz. 4 of us. Then got my uncle's fam, my aunt and my cuz. Thats 8 of them. And also a fam from msia. Which is sooo coincidental coz their youngest girl was from nj too, sec1. Spotted my crew jacket and was so happy that she met someone so qiao. hahaha =)

day 2 was not bad. Woke up to find that the scenery was in fact quite beautiful. And they had a fitness corner which has imported your familiar fitness gadgets found in HDBs. Haha then it was shopping and shopping in many factory outlets! Lunched at some tradditional indo restaurant, then cont shopping =) Stopped by some place to catch an angklung performance, which was really cool. They got lil kids to play angklung and dance and wayang here and there. They passed us each an angklung too (ok, borrowed would sound more appropriate) to play tgt with them. Quite nice! Like the whole audience is now like an orchestra. Had dinner at some random place which the food is like bleh.

Oh yea, the food is disappointing overall. I was hoping to eat some nice food but end up every meal taste the same. and boring. boo.

the lil girl fell ill too. must be the food. so we skipped a shopping mall and head back to our hotels. Haha my mum's like a walking pharmacy, spammed her with like 138726 diff kinds of meds la. but hey she was okay the next day xD

day 3 is pretty. Went up a volcano there and was awed by the scenery. and awed by the stench too. Had some nice fried beancurd, which reminded me of my late ah mah and ah gong's cooking. =/ Everyone just stood there and seek solace in the food for a moment. Snapped alot of pics and bought afew of souvenirs too. Hacked the price down to a third of the starting price! Shiok! Got this damn nice frog which is resting in jing's room now. and he's whining that its giving him the creeps. zzz

Off to a mini kumpung which has lots of nice stuff to play! but no one wanted to take the flying fox with me =( i just want someone to walk with me back from the other end xD Some of them went to the strawberry farm and picked lots of nice strawberries! and hahaha something happened there which is highly memorable =p

Then we went to the hotsprings! Which were damn crowded la! Soaked my worn feet for quite some time. Oh and we saw a KFC lookalike, selling the same fried chicken and stuff too. Just that its called CFC instead. Ahahaha maybe they nvr study chem there xD Missed some live shooting thing coz we spent too much time soaking our feets.

went shopping and shopping again! bought a superman shirt for like 6-7 bucks. looks nice and bling. but alot of the factory outlets seem fake, must really select the better ones. oh and and, that day was my mum's bday!

What's a bday without a bday celebration? So like when dinner was finishing, the lights suddenly went off and boomz! Everyone happy-bday-ed my mum and made her so paiseh and happy. hahaha almost 50years old liao!

The other fam had to leave early in the morning. So it leaves us 12 ppl the morning free to go for sommore shopping! Really spent every cent of my half a million. Still had to borrow some from my dad ahaha. But still i din get enough gifts for everyone. So dont whine if u din receive any hor!

oh and we lunched at a chinese restaurant. I think chinese food still pawns indo food. And the meal cost like 1million bucks! omgwtfbbq! but heh, if u really convert, 1mil is not really alot of money. esp when its for a meal for 13ppl.

i swear i spent the next 4hours sitting on the bus. or 5. Coz when i woke up its dinner time already. I think i grew an affinity with that particular seat la. Everytime i tonged into that seat i just fall asleep within minutes. Had dinner at the endangered A&W fastfood rez. brings back really good memories la, i wonder why A&W went extinct in singapore. Such a nice name too. =)

The plane ride felt much better. Just that it was flooded with beijing ren who bring more baggage than 5times their weight. It was a transit flight, how lucky can i get. And they just stuff their baggage in any empty spaces, we had to shove theirs away to squeeze in ours. Lucky it wasnt as long as the bus ride, we quickly landed, got our baggage, bought our liqueur and quickly cabbed home. =)

oh and smth interesting. their toilet keeper earns more than what their singapore counterparts do. its 1000rp per entry, which is like 15cents. Singapore ones are merely 10cents, or mostly free. 50% more revenue. So yea, if u got no idea what job prospects u have, do give it a thought.

and i still got gifts for some of you. meet up soon yea! i only got less than 1 week more zzz

for a moment, i thot i wouldnt have any xmas countdown this year.

but yea! 4-4 simply rocks. had another of those u-cant-simply-forget kind of countdown. Which includes someone getting bitten by a dog, turning back the clock to countdown, someone losing another 40bucks at mj, incessant gaming throughout the night, 50pushups for picking the smallest card for 193862 times and of coz, teng and his triple 7 which owned mafei flat and woke the dog up which cheered for him too. Hahaha lucky i din gamble =)

and yet another 4-4 gathering too. bbq at zhian's house ytd was quite a success.

if u dun count the lack of a swimming pool, chalet facilities and the mini-lack of food, yea everything went well. damn long nvr see so many ppl tgt, really felt heartwarming. It was warmer too, after some nice vodka. thanks daryl! camwhored with the pro dslr. gonna get one someday.


ohohoh. there was the countdown to jing's bday too, on fri night. Haha nk finally crashed his baby! xD Had to spend almost 2k fixing it up la. Which denied him of a transport back home late at night. Spent half the night at his place drinking some weird mix and playing pes10. and the next half of the night at my place cooking some 'expensive' instant noodles and snoring in my room.

and yea! been playing his psp for a few days. He just returned from thailand, damn. Shall go play more before returning back to him later =)

Its quek again. And teng. and junlong. But its the first time we 4 are playing tgt i think. with higher stakes too. lucky i sent 2emails at the start of each round, helped me quite abit. It was quite a random idea to play mj ytd, and an abrupt one too.

Oh yea, i pooled 3 times ytd.

First was the pool with 11 balls and 2 cues. Then it was the wet pool with trunks and goggles and slides that simply thrills you. And yea, the dry pool at night with tiles and pongs and victory dances and random dongfeng/ jingle bells songs.

Oh yea, went out for a mini arcade/bmt outing. Rmb someone once asked, "When is the last time u did something for the first time?" Yea i did 2 things for the first time that day. Which i thot i couldnt have, and when u complete it the sense of achievement is really wow. But the sight of someone picking up that stitch right in-front of u is heart-wrenching. Still i feel damn happy and excited for him!


Finally uploaded the indo photos onto fb, after dunno how many tries. Shall tag and caption them with my fam later. And blog about it, if i gotta feeling. and if tonight's a good good night.

The day's starting out pretty well. Even my flu's subsiding, shd be okay by tmr.

Been sleeping like a pig this weekend. Took naps every few hours, and an 11-hour sleep at night. Im amazed at the no. of hours i can spend sleeping. And i heard sleeping makes u grow taller.


But look at that amount of time. It could have been used to do something more worthwhile.


Ahhaha but hey guess what. i got visitors! Not bad eh.

B dropped by ytd. Okay mayb not for a visit, but to rip my music. His HD totally crashed and the music went along too. And of coz, other stuff. Hahaha & he missed his bus coz we were stalking this random person on fb. xD

Oh and i realised i got 10Gb of songs rotting in my com. That took up like 1/4 of my disk space and i listen to ard 100mb the most? Waste of space man, shall clean up one day.

Jing dropped by too. PCC-ed as usual, then cont talking about random stuff. He's out for a jog now i think, and there's arsenal later! Trash lpool flat yea! I'll be wearing the gunners jersey to sleep tonight =)


and i almost bricked my phone. was geeking with my phone then made some fatal error. hahaha lucky the forums are more geek than me, else i need to get a new one. But im bored with my phone already. Lucky NS coming.

Its just one week ago that i was complaining about the ache.
and so much things have happened.



Well i've seen ppl puke and doing stuff while they're drunk. But the past 2 occasions made me realised that getting drunk can be pretty funny and entertaining too. No not me, i aint drunk. But i had quite abit of fun watching my friends getting so.


Supperclub is quite a nice place actually. went there on fri, but not again after prom. Its abit small, but quite cozy with all the beddings and stuff, and they got a lil retreat at the top if u wanna rest. Had tequila on the rocks! I wonder why they call it on the rocks, perhaps it refers to the ice? Then we kinda spammed jugs and jugs of vodka with various juices. No wonder someone got drunk. xD

And once we stepped out of the club, i could almost feel myself going deaf. The pressure difference is sooo huge la. Had a bit of macs before walking to BoonKheng. Yes u heard that, walking. Think we took almost 2hours? Kinda nice to walk in the streets when its dark and quiet. Like we own the whole world liddat.


Went nocturnal again the next day. STJ was in the evening, at Sushi Hei. Udon was very nice xD Ate quite abit but wasnt very filling. Then me and pun went to crash every table and chatted for abit. Was kinda shocked at the hazel-genie-nurul table. They spammed the moshi like drinking water liddat. There's like one whole bunch of moshi wrappers on their table, scary.




But not much senior went. There are more juniors and great-seniors that went! Not much photos on fb thou.

And there was MAHJONG! Din really played tong xiao, by 5+ everyone already KOed. Hehehe sneaked some choya into my room! And binged on the countless packets of chips. Fat fat fat.




And along comes prom. =)


Its one of the nights that u wouldn't forget. Everyone dressed in their best, eagerly waiting to take photos with each other and enjoying the performances. Damn i almost kena the lucky draw! And i din take pictures with many ppl who i wanted to. Even so, it was still as fun. Some highlights were the performance from Caleb's band, the 'Super-senior' performance, and of coz, our very own JitSheng becoming prom king. =) Looks like our effort in going table to table and promote his name paid off. Hahaha prom king!







Had difficulty spotting some ppl too, like tty. Girls can totally morph into totally different people. Brr. More photos on fb!

Went for some post-prom activity with the class. Nope not going helipad, heard that place was boring. And not supperclub too. So we went off to some fusion bar at Clarke Quay to chill out. The place was quite smokey, and have nude paintings all over the ceiling. And they got this band singing chinese songs on stage. Whee had vodka cranberry again! Which got stolen by the girls halfway xD Had margarita and long island too. Oh and we had quite abit of fun dancing on the floor, which ww got dragged down from the platform xD Oh and Jits poked my contacts out! Lucky bong had some solution, if not i'll be walking ard half blind.

Then we got some nice entertainment as we walked the half-drunk ww back to hotel. Ahahaha epic. I realised one get get drunk, then sober, then drunk again without consuming any more alcohol. Cool. I mean, not cool. Went to find zh at ard 6 and train back home =)



Wanted to pass Jing his hair products (thanks!) that night, but was feeling super lazy. Gave him the next morning instead, and managed to win him in WE! Haha think he was still half asleep la. Had diarrhea after breakfast >< but managed to rush to the airport and see bong off! Happy hols!
Then i was so bored that i dunno what to do. End up following ghim and the girls to shop at far east. Dresses for girls are soo cheap compared to guys. And so much variety too. Ghim bought this $100 learn-jap-yourself package. Cant stop mugging huh!


Had a mini PA outing! 7 ppl only xD

Went to korean garden at marina square there. Melv was late as usual! Actually strictly speaking, only me and grace and leng not late. Though i havent visit the place for like months, it still looks the same. Had fun cracking egg, frying egg, half-boiling egg, how eggciting. Caught up with the people too, and they were talking mainly about prom. Hw already have in mind what to wear for prom! It'll be interesting to see what grace will be wearing xD

Oh and met cedric over there!

Went to walk around after the buffet. Passed by the kiap kiap machines and we stopped there for quite some time, dropping coins after coins into the machine. Seriously its like my stitch that time! But in the end we managed to move on to the arcade. Wanted to play pool but its damn ex =(

So after abit of arcade we decided to head back...and guess what! We dropped by the kiap kiap machines again! I think i found a potential partner for kiapkiaping. Hahha really addictive la! And it was sooo close to dropping. I swear the next time i put the coins in i'll be hugging something back.


Went to B's house to help him fix com. Think its abit beyond hope, then we tried something geeky. Hahaha but most of the time we're playing guitar or xbox. Then after that was gl to the max. How much shock u'll get if u return home to find a guy wearing boxers and playing psp in your living room? xD



By the time i got home it was like 10? And was coughing pretty badly too, got told off by my parents. Sigh. Shd have known what's better.


But went to see the doctor today! Heng ah, she's flying off tmr for hols, and im kinda lucky to catch her tdy. A wooping $100+! But nah not just for flu meds la, got other meds too.


Had my eyes closed more than they opened today. Hope i'll feel alot better tmr, and much much better the next day, and much much much.... ok u get the drift. I dowan to spend my hols snugged up at home swallowing pills. But guess i'll have to ground myself for this weekend. =(

well i can continue on and on, but yea. SOFTBALL IS BACK to my life =)


but after months of staying at home and not moving, abit of pt could kill. Left me and b totally shagged. and i woke up aching all over.

But the feeling of your body aching is shiok. I miss that too. xD





Now that As over, there's finally time to chill and relax ourselves. I totally lost track of the days la, i thot like a week had past but actually my paper just ended only 3days ago. And i wake up thinking that everyday is a friday. Woops.

But did alot of things in these few days too. Played l4d2! Shop! Soccer! Shop! Sball! Guitar! Swim! Shop! Shop! Winning Eleven! Pack room! I think i shopped alot liao. Got everything ready for prom already, left misc items like bling bling and whatever. So far spent $119 in total, thats pain to the pocket. But you'll be expecting a dashing young lad on monday night =)


AND OMG. I screwed up my chance of getting this lovely thing too!



AHHH it's like so close to dropping! Then i screwed it up totally, missed and pushed it nearer to the glass instead. Then the kiap kiap thing can no longer reach it. =( My stitchhhhhhh.


Sigh. There goes 4bucks.



Oh yea, went to clarke quay to celebrate Eunice's birthday with the class. On some random day i forgot. The restaurant sells nice dishes, all the fried fishes and oysters. Free flow of tartar sauce too. But zzz they dun give icewater. Liddat also can. So me and leng they all went to 7-11 to buy big glup. Eh i dun like the cashier dude, keep following me ard to stop me from stealing like as thou he thinks im gonna steal liddat. Haha we damn cheapo, 5ppl share the biggest cup and kept snatching from one another. Leng choked while drinking too, and the water almost came out from his nose xD

Sat by the river and talked for quite some time. The tranquil lights around the area can be quite emo at times. Realised i havent been spending alot of time with my class, and the As have ended already. Hope there can be more gatherings next time, coz my class has really a bunch of nice people.

oh and i cleaned my room! Like real clean. Emptied all my cupboards and sorted everything out nicely. Actually i sorted out econs immediately after the paper. Only did the rest of them today. Kinda proud of myself.
