how to continue fighting the battle the moment u know u lost it?


Kinda disappointed at myself. Though i knew i'd failed, i should at least put up a strong fight. But whats the point of struggling when u already expected the outcome. Blame it on my luck? Someone once said that luck is when preparedness meet opportunity. Despite the bad opportunity, preparedness should have kept me going. I felt prepared, but was i proven otherwise?

Im still quite discontented. Compared to my first test, this timing was supposed to be 'better'. But hey the circuit's like ten times more crowded than an hour before, and the traffic outside doesnt seem to have subsided too. The tester was nicer before too. Who's mean enough to make me go up a crowded slope, do the narrow 3pt turn and the narrow parallel p. Sigh. Felt like i did worst than my first time in circuit. zzz


And im even more vexed. Booking test dates is a pain in the ass for private takers. 1st july? Thats damn far. Plus im left with the first slot. -.- Ubi why u so cui one. Im seriously gonna go for one last try. Keep spamming lessons and tests aint cheap yknw.

Kinda embarrassed that i failed the 2nd time. Like most ppl passed on their 2nd try, if not the first. Feels like im ahead but still lagging so damn badly =(


And my father was suggesting maybe cos aljunied was just won by WP. Haha my tester must have been a pro-pap then!


Oh and WP's victorious in this elections! Finally contested and won in a GRC, something that greatly made the pap's legs turn jelly. They almost won JooChiat too! Haha went to one of their rallies and was more than just impressed. Every sentenced the speaker made would be followed by spontaneous response and cheers. And when they left, people are still chanting slogans and names! To be able to garner so much support is no small feat. Running the grc is neither too. They'll have alot to work on to live up to GY's standards.

Was disappointed when SPP lost both their battles in Bishan and PP. Watched their rally and even stayed up all the way to catch the result. But perhaps luck is not on their side. CST was really frail compared to last time, perhaps he should take a break and enjoy his retirement. I wonder if his CPF is taken away for being a hard opposition? xD

Im not really anti-pap, but this time round the pap really made themselves look very bad. False accusations towards WP, talking with such big ego, telling people that they'll repent when they themselves ought to be ashamed of a couple of national issues. In the end, they are so afraid of the competition that they have to apologise and gain some votes. There's also the legendary TPL. Felt so unjust to have her in our parliament than capable ppl like NS, GY, CST, and almost anyone else.


So much for being promoted, i went to draw money today and saw that my pay hasn't increased at all. Another downswing. Workload have been immense this week. Hate it when there's exercises. Waste our time changing to bigger fuel tanks when u do not fully utilise them. And squeezing 5 washes in 2 nights. We're washing jets leh, not cars. Work hours are so long that staying out doesnt seem to benefit. I just hope for this week to end soon.



And i think Singapore's repenting right now. The weather's sooo freaking hot! Never knew blogging could made me perspire so much.

i wondered what happened to me to come to this neglected place and keeping you company for a couple of minutes. blogging seemed to have seeped out of my life seamlessly without me knowing, and along with blog-reading too.

but hey, after hopping from blog to blog, i realised only a couple of my friends are still far away from having the writer's block. For me, well. Perhaps its stuff like twitter or fb that pulls me away from here. Or mayb i just dun feel so excited about blogging anymore and waiting for ppl to tag on my tagboard, as to comment on my wall post. I wonder who'd still blog regularly?


Been too preoccupied with all the techie work that i have kinda lost some life out there. Only on the recent few weekends have i been going out to orchard or city hall or bugis, and boy i do feel enthralled seeing the familiar streets and places, that held many, many fond memories.

its not even two years, and i've became boring much.


and i realised im not that good at consoling. sure i can make you happier when you're happy, but mayb not as much when you're sad.


but i was pretty entertained by @bernard's debut performance! hahhaa he is definitely on his road to fame and more fame. =)



Ahahha the hand gestures were pretty amusing when he said that. and i think the play's much entertaining whenever he appears. mayb because we dying to see him. mayb its maybelline.

windows 7 is pretty!

Im there coz i dun wanna feel bad to let uall down. To have a good time. & not to get badgered at or to be angry at people. Being down is bad enough. Just reached a new low and i guess i shall take a break at it. At least for a month.

anyways, jing just drove me around! He seem quite confident on the road, quite different from my gor xD Driving is way damn cool, seriously cant wait for my first lesson.

Went to visit ntu ytd, and met up with quite a few ppl too. Haha i like the halls, the new one looks quite beautiful, like chalet liddat. But some worn down ones looks worst than army bunks! All the smelly shoes and damp laundry hanging out. Kinda unglam esp if everyone walks past, like hall 2 liddat.

Perhaps i shall continue joining PA there. They have a cooler name too; Concert engineers.



Oh my first guard duty was good good deal! Greater than good. Co-guard was this nice guy called ashley, and only a few went to work on fri morning so it wasnt that stress. Thursday guard is good deal already coz the next day would be an off, hence the long weekend! But next month die liao, doing with this certain guy and sommore its on a friday. Sucks thumb lors.

my beloved tablet pc died! like finally, but at a very bad time. =/

just went i got new speakers, laptop cooler, extra hd space and extra ram, it gave up on me. shdnt have pamper it so much -.- then i try to tear it apart to fix it but damn, one screw's rounded and stuck and refuse to come out. guess its time is up. almost 6years man!

now im troubled. i want a com myself but dunno if i shd wait 2more years for uni. or get a cheap laptop now. or a netbook. or a zai macbook. or a cheap pc. blah moneys.

and speaking of money, i just failed my ippt again tdy! or rather, the weather failed me. It was super cooling this morning, coz it rained in the wee morning. Rained too hard i guess, till the floor couldnt dry in time. So ippt was cancelled zzz and tmr no ippt too, and promotion's on monday, so that means no more promotion again. delay by another month, and now i've just incurred a 2 x ($800-$420) opportunity cost. zzz


oh to ppl out there taking As and Os and PSLE ( i think psle over?) g'luck mate! time to prove that your mugging is worthwhile, or your theory of not mugging is plausible, whichever the case. I rmb last year im busy chionging and mugging my ass off at woodlands lib like some mad dog. Once the doors open we chiong in like kiasu aunties. haha tell me im not the only one!

oh and the macs monopoly was this time last year too. and once again it has successfully exploited the muggers to eat more macs. macgers.

Mmm do anyone get the highs when you'd a lack of sleep the night before? i think that happens to me sometimes. monday i was totally highing and not really that tired at all. then when i saw gw i totally just talked nonstop to him xD quite loudly too, i realise halfway. but i just zonked out at like 3pm liddat hahaha.



it stinks right now. some ppl are painting my block right now. From blue to red, its so gonna get warmer soon.

life in camp is pretty exciting. but i guess its only when we're making mistakes or when some ppl scolds and lectures and we derogate him review the matter afterwards. if not its pretty routine and boring. well but not this week in the crew room. haha cant divulge this or it'll make us look bad xD

guard duty's coming! this thursday, then i'll be having my friday as off to rest. thinking of visiting ntu for awhile! hope im not too lazy!

oh yea went hk last mth. pretty decent place, i like! good mixture of modern and abit of backward life. just that my canto wasnt good enough to appreciate the place more. i wanna go again! think i spent too little time in macau, how to tour that cool place in just 4-5hours? but okay la bought a handful of stuff back. love the food there too. shall start saving up bit by bit, maybe after ord can go again!

its been a loooong time i've been here. Think im losing my interest in writing down long blog entries and stuff. Sometimes its just nicer to tell someone how great your day was, rather than to type it out. And most of the time its kinda funny when u put it down in words.

Life so far has been quite the ups. shopping, running around, mahjonging, and whatever fun crap has made my weekends exciting. or mayb its just shines brighter when compared to my mundane weekdays. But hey, having boring weekdays is not a bad thing, then your weekends would seem better.

i kinda wished that my unit was involved in AHM. The talk of the town, or rather, among the army dudes. Sounds cool when ppl say AHM here AHM there, my timing's 2hours, what yours? Left out on a cool event sigh. Can also help in trimming my belly too. Wonder if jing managed to find his pt kit in time anot.

Hi!

since the long weekend has passed, lets keep this short.


I felt kinda blissful. These two weeks have managed to let me catch up with ppl whom i seldom meet. Some friends are really special and fated, u just cant seem to run away from them. Got quite a shock when i saw him in airforce school haha. Finally had a proper met up last sunday for some softball action, ps3 action and lunch!

talk about softball, i really brought home alot of balls. Thanks ah QM. and my right butt still aches when i was changing this morning =/

had a mj session, i forgot if it was last week or last last, but i managed to break even. From a biggg loss. Must be my karma that's building up.

even helped a grandma in trouble! Oh that was before the mj. No wonder.

Last week was actually a 2day work week. Mon wed and fri were spent doing stuff which i dun really rmb. Okay hold on, i rmb got one day we went to tengah! Get to see all the good old mates =) Kinda like very homely, remind me of the days we spent in airforce sch.

Seriously i miss stay-in life! Its a good way to bond ppl, really. Well mayb it only applies to the airforce. But bmt stay in was memorable too! Kinda miss Nat and his lame 'your mother' jokes. And the very english-y bunk and our way of doing things.

Bmt felt like a year ago! =(

I just cant wait to get back to schooling life. At least there's more uhm, variety! But not say my buddies are boring. In fact they're far from that. I think we rock, enough said =)

and this year was helluva way to spend my nday. KTV for the whole afternoon with my dear s05 hunks! Zl seems hunkier and hulkier and damn garang. Totally officerish. The two jokers were still the life of the party! and plus the rest of us booming happily away, it makes me really happy that im one of us. Really high till shag xD

and when we sing the HOME song, its amazing how we totally ignore daughtry on the tv and sang our kit chan's one proudly. All the way till the end too. Either we're high on bubble tea, or the song is really good. Mayb both. =)


and then the yacht outing! Ahhhh must really thank qinrui leh! Not because he's rich, but he's really nice and thoughtful and nice and... very sincere. The yacht's like the biggest in keppel harbour there! And thou its just a small crowd of us among the many guests, we really enjoyed ourselves! Been so long since we'd have class gatherings!

i did quite little for the past weeks. but quite alot too as well. All the big things like launching and recovering and EORing. Even did some config change today too. Pretty tiring but learnt alot. I prefer doing more work in camp actually. Yea beats sitting down there and rotting. Since im in camp i might as well find smth to do to keep myself awake. And to read up more lest we kena stun by the plethora of qns which our dear instructor likes to ask.



I think i love my job more and more. Well i hope this conts for the next 1.5 years, dun wanna feel too sian before i ord. And sigh a batch of NSFs just ord-ed! Im longing for the ord-feeling too, like graduating from sch liddat =)

Im starting to like the hornets more and more too. oh yea my sqn calls ourselves hornets, coz our badge has a kickass hornet there. Haha its really true that the more time u spend with one another the more close u'll be. They even influence me to watch xing guang la xD But sigh one more month liddat and we'll be like split into half and working different shifts. =/
