PA camp.
i really feel that i gained alot during these 3 days of camp. 3 days of wonder and magic. 3 days of happiness and enjoyment. 3 days of trials and difficulties. 3 days of my greatest moments.
The mock events, thou seem to be failures, are instead a success to me. I believe that they are set not only to test our abilities, but also to let us gain the experiece we need by exposing us to such situations. I was the i/c for the first day's, which was the simplest but i still screwed up. From there, i really picked up alot of minute details which i had overlook. Saw from JW's nick; Experience is what u get when u din get what u wanted. Indeed i gained more than what i wanted to initially, so does that count as a success? =)
The other 2 days of events were much better, since we stayed up late into the night to plan. Just that some matters just simply found a way to slip from our minds, which kinda screw us up. But i do believe everyone have benefitted from these mock events, and are more able now to deal with such situations. Like Zp said, its becoz we alr had the technical abilities, so what we have to build up on is the experience of handling events. So, dishearten we are not! We have done our best and learnt alot from these events.
I feel that PA has gotten much more bonded tgt too! From doing things tgt, playing games tgt, this camp has really achieved its goal of bonding the crew more closely tgt. Its really impt as the crew makes up the backbone of the cca. Without this bond, people might not see this sense of importance and responsibility too. Knowing that almost everyone has another CCA besides PA[even me!], so its crucial not to let the other members to kinda 'drift' away. That's the job im given by nic. & i believe i can do it =)
So yup, im in PA exco now! Training officer[T.O for short] for NjPA 08/09. Its the post i actually wanted, besides being pres. From all the mock events, i feel that i really lacked event experience and feel that hey, Cass would make a better pres than me. =) So yup, voted myself as TO instead. Hah and my votes hor, i chose 5 out of the 7posts correctly! Only guessed Secretary and QM wrongly. Oh man, i dun think anyone expected Grace to be the QM! But on 2nd thot, yah, she's quite up to the job. JiaYou Grace! The first QMistress for dunno how long. To Hsiangwei too, the first male CCO for dunno how long also. T.O means that i'll be teaching the crew on how to use the equiptment and stuff, which also means that i'll be having some headache next year xD GOT SEC1 KIDS LEH OMG. Sigh. All the best to NJPA exco! To the other applicants who din make it, fret not! Uall are just as impt as anyone in the crew!

Being i/c is fun! Was doing backstage with Jingwen while Yineng and mel handles the lights and sounds. Hah and i almost lost my keys! xD Maybe its becoz im not used to having the duty of locking doors. Talk abt that, i was quite stuck at opening the door too, esp when we are leaving.
Went home with Shihuan, which i crapped from sch to bishan, then snored all the way home. =P
Can u believe it? i started blogging from the aftn, and im only done now. haha 5 hours of blogging! With lots of in-between stuff here and there. Went for a jog too. Oh man im easily distracted. xD
Oh yah. My bro's in Beijing now! For almost one week le! All the best for ur internship! Im not being mushy or what, but im starting to miss u abit. Like when im coming home and i'll peer up at the window to see if u're home, then realised u're not in Spore le. =/ Take care ya?
